Vice Chancellor’s Message

The fundamental spirit of education is holistic learning which indoctrinates an individual outlook into life and provides the students with deeper acumen and a wider vision. Education creates a foundation upon which rests the continual expansion of economy and society. In this epoch of globalization, technological progression and competitive world quality education is the only savior.

I am pleased to note that Baba Namdev University College Kishankot, Ghoman District Gurdaspur, is envisaged to be an enduring centre of excellence in higher education, which is learner- centric and envisaged in innovative teaching methodologies and believes in holistic education for the students by incorporating in its programme’s- academics, co-curricular activities, sports education and life skills learning. With the notable intention to provide quality education and career opportunities to students of the region and to make them employable the college in also focusing on the professional courses. The college is imparting high quality affordable education to the students of rural background. It is commendable that approximately 25 students have scored more than 75% marks in the university examination and students have won Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals in the university Athletic meet 2019-20 and in co-curricular activities of GNDU.
